Jessica Olpp is a Melbourne-based visual artist whose work reflects a quiet lyricism and deep appreciation for stillness. Raised among the bushlands of Warrandyte and having lived and worked in France, Jessica brings an introspective and poetic quality to her paintings. A lifelong creative, she began painting as a meditative balance to her career as a French teacher. Her background in classical dance, poetry, and foreign languages informs her visual art practice, which is rich in emotional nuance, atmosphere, and a sense of calm.

Jessica’s artwork has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across Australia, including a recent solo show at The Victorian Artists’ Society. She is a multi-year finalist in notable national art prizes such as Inside This Box at The Corner Store Gallery, The Next Big Thing at Toowoomba Gallery, and the Omnia Art Prize. Her work has been featured at the Affordable Art Fair in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, showcased in Country Style magazine, and selected by interior designers for commercial spaces including Middle Park European and Elio’s Place on Flinders Lane. Jessica’s work recently featured in The Design Files as part of an interiors shoot of a residence in the Snowy Mountains.

Now based in her Caulfield North studio, Jessica continues to create paintings inspired by both natural landscapes and cultural experiences, combining sensitivity, stillness, and refined technique.
